TotalSource® Warranty 

Below is a warranty summary written specifically for TotalSource® branded parts.

Starter & Alternator Warranty (TotalSource®)

TotalSource® warrants TotalSource-branded starters and alternators against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of original sale.

If a TotalSource starter or alternator is found to be defective in materials or workmanship, it will be replaced at no charge for the part. The defective item must be returned freight prepaid with proof of purchase and a brief explanation of the issue, following the return instructions provided by The Modern Shop (Modern Group).

Starters and alternators returned for warranty evaluation may be tested prior to credit/replacement authorization. Units returned that test free of defects may be returned to the customer with a $10.00 testing fee, freight collect.

Limited Warranty (TotalSource®)

TotalSource® warrants that TotalSource-branded products it manufactures and/or distributes are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year, or as otherwise indicated, from the date of original sale.

Exceptions

• 2-year warranty on tracks
• 90-day warranty on flash tubes, light bulbs, sealed beams, and similar products
• This warranty is parts only and does not cover labor charges

If a covered TotalSource product is determined to be defective in materials or workmanship, it will be repaired or replaced at no charge for the part. The defective product must be returned freight prepaid with proof of purchase and a brief explanation of the defect, following the return instructions provided by The Modern Shop.
